News and Views from "Life Always
Works"
Wow, so many wonderful things have happened since
our last newsletter! We had a powerful "Kickoff
Party" at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor and what a
beautiful day, albeit cool. We had a great turn
out, around 60 fabulous friends, some of whom we
have not seen in a long time. The food was great
and the entertainment fun. We want to thank all
those who contributed the delicious dishes, for
Patty's Laughter Yoga demonstration, and especially
for the barbecue king, Danny.

I had the experience of attending Bernie Dunn's "A
Caring Touch Wellness Center" grand opening and came
away a thoroughly pampered woman. She had a "mini"
Saturday where one could experience all the services
she offers such as hand waxing, facial massages,
etc. It was a great day! "Sandy"

Past Present and Future
The Past: The purpose of our past is to learn life
lessons. If we are dwelling on the past for any
other reason – blame, guilt, shame,
self-righteousness, justification – we are wasting
the present.
The Future: Planning for the future is proactive
and can be a beneficial thing to do for ourselves.
Worrying about the future is costing us the
present.
Life is a series of moments to experience. If we
are dwelling on the past we are not experiencing the
current moment to its fullest potential. The same
is true of the future.
The Present: One way to maintain a healthy self
esteem is to focus on the present moment. When we
are content or happy with ourselves in this moment,
we can make the statement “I am content” or “I am
happy” without judgment about the previous moment or
fear of the next moment.
Practicing this can lead to multiple moments of
happiness, and can add up to hours or days.
Acknowledging that we have content/happy moments,
hours or days positions us to accept that we are not
unhappy all the time, and we are at choice in each
moment. If we are not choosing content/happy in any
given moment, what are we making more important and
why? If it’s a moment dwelling on the past what are
we learning from it? If it’s a moment worrying
about the future, how is that serving us?
We are very excited to announce that our upcoming
Nurses course has been approved for 10 ANCC CEU's.
Watch for details!!
